Complete Skateboard

When considering an investment into the sport of skateboarding it is imperative to understand what it is you are getting into, and what you should expect out of it. For this reason, this description has been penned to outline what a complete skateboard kit should have and hold and some of the potential accessories you might encounter.

A complete skateboard should have a deck, two trucks, and four wheels. Within the trucks there should be two bushings, two axels, two kingpins, and two baseplates which form the overall understructure of the skateboard itself. The top of the deck should be covered in grip tape so that tricks and maneuvers will not be lost because of the failures of friction.

Within a complete skateboard there should be wheels . The style of wheel s you desire should be incumbent on your intended form of skateboarding. At one end of the spectrum there is the flat skateboarding tricks and the hard small skateboarding wheels that it entails. Near the other end is downhill longboard slaloms with the largest, stickiest wheels that exist in order to grab corners and maintain momentum down the entire course. Either way, what you want to do with your wheels should predicate your investment so that the wheels fit the situation.
